HALL, Raymond B. age 95 a lifelong resident of West Carrollton until 2001 passed 
away on December 21, 2008 in Appleton, WI. He was born December 26, 1912 in
 West Carrollton, the son of the late Robert & Willie (Hixson) Hall. He married Elsie 
Albrecht on November 6, 1936 sharing 49 years together before her death in 1985. 
He was employed by the Defense Electronic Supply Center for many years retiring in 
1973. Following his career with DESC, he worked for Paper Systems, Inc. until he 
retired from there in 1987. In 2001 he moved to Appleton, WI, to be near his daughter 
and son-in-law living at Touchmark Senior Living Apartments. Raymond was a former 
member of Grace Lutheran Church, W. Carrollton and then of Zion Lutheran Church, 
Appleton. He is survived by his daughter and her husband Nancy & Rev. Larry 
Matthews, 3 grandchildren Sheryl Anne (David) Crowell, Elizabeth (Robert) Brannon, 
Amy (Michael) Griess, 6 great grandchildren Jacob & Alexander Crowell, Amanda & 
Aaron Howard, Christina & Tyler Duong, and God-daughter Judith Weller-Martin. 
Preceded in death his son Gary in 1997 and a sister Elizabeth "Betty" Flint in 1931. 
He is also survived by former daughter-in-law Ingrid Hall and several cousins including 
Jack Hixson and LaVon Hintermeister. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 
January 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. 
Pastor Richard Faust officiating. Burial will follow at Davids Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. 
A memorial service will be held on Appleton, WI, on January 17, 2009 at Touchmark. 
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church 
"Roof Fund", 410 E. Pease Ave., W. Carrollton, Ohio 45449 or to the "Project 2003 
and Beyond" at Zion Lutheran Church, 912 N. Oneida St., Appleton, WI 54911.
