SHADE, Carl Wilson Age 91, of Miamisburg, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at Walnut Creek. Carl was born in West Carrollton, OH on September 23, 1914 to the late Wilson Monroe and Martha A. (Schuster) Shade. He was a graduate of Miami University and was a Navy Veteran of WWII where he served in the Armed Guard. Carl was a retired employee of the Water Refining Co. His memberships include past president and life member of the Miamisburg Lion's Club, Minerva Lodge F. & A.M., Trinity Chapter, Valley Commandery and Adoniram Council. Carl also served 10 years on the Miamisburg Civil Service Board and 2 years on Miamisburg City Council. He was an active member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Virginia Shade, 2 sons, James M. Shade of Miamisburg, John W. Shade of Boston, MA, a grandson, Matthew C. Shade of Orlando, FL, a niece, Marilyn (Kent) Campbell of Hamilton, OH. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2005 at 11:00 AM from the GEBHART-SCHMIDT- PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME, Miamisburg. Pastor John Bradosky officiating. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery.
