CHRISTMAN, James E. Age 90, of Sebring, FL., formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2005, in Sebring. He was preceded in death by his parent's, Lawrence & Leonora Christman; by his wife of 58 years, Minnie (Humphrey) Christman & by his 2 son's, Jon D. Christman & James R. Christman. Mr. Christman was a graduate of West Carrollton High School, class f 1933 and owner of Christman Sand & Gravel in Dayton for 34 years. In addition he owned or managed several small business enterprises throughout his working career. Upon retirement, he & his wife moved to Sebring, FL. where he had resided for the past 33 years. James was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sebring. He is survived by 2 sister's Shirley Scarborough of West Carrollton, Ruth Wieclaw of Venice. FL. & by good friend & companion Marleah Leslie of Sebring, FL.; 2 god-daughters, Barbara Bunn of Centerville & Linda Dunlevy of Danville, VA.; 9 grandchildren, Scott Christman, Jeffrey Christman, Jennifer Clausen, Tamera Loper, Teresa Burns, Jill Murphy, Tracy Konig, Jay Christman & Suzanne Christman; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 daughters-in-law & 11 nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 9, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church, (Alex-Bell & Munger Roads), Pastor Rick Hinger officiating. Burial Davids Cemetery.
