SIMPSON, Alice P (Gray) . entered into rest on Monday, November 3, 2014 in Miamisburg. Alice was born on July 17, 1918 in Harveysburg, Ohio. She was a graduate of West Carrollton High School. Alice worked at Inland Manufacturing during WWII and various retail stores throughout her years. She is survived by her daughter Saundra, 3 grandchildren Tara Norvell, Karin Vega, Laura Price, and her loveable Yorkie "Amy". She was preceded in death by her husband William Roscoe Simpson, son C. William, parents Charlie & Marie, 2 brothers Robert & Wayne, and sister Kathleen. She and Roscoe were married on July 2, 1938 in Miamisburg, and enjoyed nearly 76 years of marriage. They wintered in Bonita Springs, FL, for more than 25 years, and enjoyed the weekly dinner dances at their retirement community. They returned to the Dayton area in 2004. Alice was an excellent seamstress, and homemaker. She crocheted many afghans over the years, for herself, family and friends. Inurnment will be at Woodland Cemetery.
