BECK, Kathleen M. age 88 of Harveysburg passed away Fri. Jan. 18, 
2008 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home, Waynesville. Kathleen was a 
1937 graduate of West Carrollton H.S. and went on to receive her
teaching certificate from the Univ. of Dayton. She taught school in 
Trotwood and West Carrollton and later retired from Harveysburg School. 
She was a member of the Ohio Teacher's Assoc., and greatly enjoyed 
sewing, knitting, crocheting, and working in her rose and flower garden. 
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Marie Gray, two 
grandchildren, one great grandson, and two brothers Robert and Wayne 
Gray. She is survived by her husband Charles, married 66 years; three 
daughters Madeleine Allman of KY, Joyce (Bill) Hughes of KY, and Elaine 
Beck of Harveysburg; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one 
sister Alice (William R.) Simpson of Dayton; and several nieces and 
nephews. Funeral services 2 PM Tues. Jan. 22 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral 
Home, Waynesville. Burial Middle Run Cemetery. Condolences may be
