Hebert, Mary Ellen (Reinhart) Age 84, Born in Dayton, Ohio on November 4, 1920. Died July 7, 2005 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. She graduated from West Carrollton High School and Nurses training at Miami Valley Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father and mother - Joseph and Ella Reinhart and brothers William and Carl Reinhart. She is survived by her husband Thomas Hebert of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, son John Hebert of Sarasota, Florida, nephew and niece Joe and Edna Reinhart of Dayton, great, great great and great great great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary Ellen was a Navy nurse in World War II. She met her husband, Marine Master Sergeant Thomas Hebert, at a New Orleans, Louisiana hospital after the war. Mr. Hebert defended the beaches at both Bataan and Corregidor as a machine gunner in World War II. Over the years Mary Ellen did volunteer work at Bethany Lutheran Village in Kettering and in Louisiana. The service will be private at the convenience of the family.
