CARR, Shirley E. age 86 of West Carrollton, passed away suddenly 
at her home on Sunday March 20, 2011. She was born in Miamisburg 
on October 10, 1924 to the late Chester and Jeannie L. Pope. In 
addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her loving 
husband, Thomas "Frank" Carr; her beloved son, David A. Carr; her 
seven brothers and three sisters; all losses that deeply saddened her. 
She is survived by her two loving grandchildren, Christopher Carr of 
Miamisburg and Stephanie Carr of Cincinnati; daughter-in-law, Brenda 
Carr; sisters-in-law, Julia (Bill) Butler of Tennessee, Velma (Clomer) 
Lamnon of Missouri and Ruthie Pope of Florida; numerous nieces and 
nephews and other relatives, as well as a large group of wonderful, 
caring friends. Shirley will be greatly missed by everyone who knew 
and loved her. Graveside services will begin 12:00 NOON, Wednesday, 
March 30, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton. Memorial 
contributions may be made to first Baptist Church of Miamisburg at 323 
N. Eleventh St., Miamisburg, OH 45342 or a charity of the donor's 
choice. Personal condolences may be forwarded to the family by
