MENDENHALL, Vera M. (Sis) Age 82 of Germantown, passed away 
Wednesday December 17, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Sis was born in 
Miami Twp. on February 3, 1926 the daughter of the late Milton and Cleo 
( Bishop ) Lucas. She is survived by her husband Sonny, a son Mason 
(Sheila) Mendenhall of Farmersville; a daughter Peggy (Robert ) Boyer of 
Germantown; brother Hartley (Margie) Lucas of West Carrollton; sister 
Ellen ( Don ) Frost of Miamisburg; 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. 
The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Monday December 
22, 2008 at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown. Burial will be in 
Germantown Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made 
to Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420. On line
