BOYER-ROYER, Bonnie J. 84, of Oakwood passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9th at Brighton Gardens of Washington Township, where she had resided for the past year and a half. Bonnie was born in Miamisburg, OH on August 3rd, 1926. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Jennie L. Pope, 7 brothers, 2 sisters, her first husband of almost 34 years, Glenn E. Boyer, beloved son, Glenn Jr. (Glennie) and loving, "forever friend" Emmert Royer. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. (Boyer) Napier and her husband, Ron, of Oakwood, one Granddaughter, Jennifer L. (Napier) Cole and her husband Don, 2 Great- Grandchildren, Taylor Lynn and Austin Lee Cole, all of West Chester, OH, one sister, Shirley E. Carr of West Carrollton, and numerous other relatives. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Brighton Gardens Reminiscence Unit for their patient, loving care of Bonnie during the last eighteen months. Special thanks also, to the nurses and aides from Hospice of the Miami Valley for being "angels of mercy" in their care of Bonnie during her final weeks and especially during her final hours. A sincere thank you also, to her loyal friends for their visits, cards and caring thoughts. As Bonnie had always firmly requested, there was no visitation and no services. On Thursday, October 14th, after a time of remembrance, attended only by her most immediate family, Bonnie was laid to rest at Hillgrove Cemetery in Miamisburg next to her beloved first husband, Glenn and son, Glennie.
