PIPPEN, Jo Ann (nee Jonas) age 79 died Monday, November 24, 2008 in 
Venice, FL. Jo Ann was born April 5, 1929 in Jacksonville, Ohio, but was a
 longtime resident of Moraine. She is preceded in death by her parents Arthur 
& Jeannette Jonas, her daughter Joni Lyn Perkins, a brother John, a sister 
Jeannette Avery, and a son in law Gary Wathen. She is survived by a 
daughter Jeri Jo Wathen and grandchildren Becky Allen and Calvin Perkins 
Jr. and wife Sara. She is also survived by 2 step-grandchildren a sister 
Donna Kiger as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. She is a 
graduate of W. Carrollton High School Class of 1947, an avid gardener and 
one several City Beautiful Awards from Moraine. Jo Ann was a retired 
employee of NCR. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 
13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. 
Richard Beverly officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Zion Cemetery,
 Moraine, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:30 
a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be 
made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238 in her 
memory.
