Wilson, Alma “Jackie”, age 84 of West Carrollton, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014. She was born August 18, 1930 in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of the late Dennis & Florence (Gaskill) Critzer. Jackie was a graduate of West Carrollton High School Class of 1948 where she was a cheerleader, honorably served her country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, Kettering Music Appreciation Choir, VFW Post 3438 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 165, West Carrollton Historical Society, a long time poll worker, co-owner of Wilkies and fostered 85 children. Preceded in death by her husband Harry E. “Wilkie” Wilson, her brother Dennis Critzer, Jr., 2 sisters Ruth Dungan, Dorothy Sargent, and son-in-law Garry Renken. Jackie is survived by 4 daughters Anne Dale & husband Gary of Kettering, Alice Wilson & Bill Aikman of West Manchester, Jane Moore & husband Dan of Moraine, Debbie Wilson of Kettering, a son David Wilson & wife Debi of Kent, 14 grandchildren, special friends Rick & Janice Gard, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Liberty of Washington Twp., and Hospice of Miami Valley for their kindness and care. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Memorial United Methodist Church, 26 N. Locust St., West Carrollton with Pastor Andy Wagner officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hospice of Miami Valley.
