DORSEY Jr., Charles D. Age 76 of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, 
December 9, 2007 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born March 15, 1931 in 
Dayton the son of the late Charles D. Sr., & Florence (Hamsher) Dorsey. He 
was retired from the W. Carrollton School System, a 17 year veteran of the W. 
Carrollton Fire Dept. where he served as Assistant Fire Chief, a Master 
Mason with Lodge #737 F & A.M., W. Carrollton, Moose Lodge #1473 in 
Celina, and a member of V.F.W. Post #3438 men's auxilliary. Preceded in 
death by his wife Norma J. "Moe" Dorsey in 1989. Survivors include his 6 
children Tom (Susan) Dorsey, Denise Dorsey, Dolores Heinlein, Jim (Ruth) 
Dorsey, Danna Dorsey-Hay (Jim Hay), and Donna (John) Franks, his sister 
Delores Meredith of FL, his brother Bill Dorsey of Springboro, 11 grandchildren, 
and 9 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 
14, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. from the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. The 
family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. A 
reception will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the V.F.W. Post #3438 in W. Carrollton. In 
lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of the 
Donor's choice.
