Clarence Applegate age 85, of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Clearance was born in Williamsburg, Ohio on September 16, 1933. He was the son of Clarence and Hazel Applegate. He graduated from West Carrollton High School. Clarence later married his wife Jeanie on September 29,1951. Clarence truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and hobbies: boating and fishing at Lake Cumberland, KY with family and friends; enjoying Nascar racing; playing cards; spending time with his beloved dogs; working on cars; and enjoying the company of friends. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jeanie; son, Marvin; granddaughter, Mindy; great-granddaughter, Kayla; and special cousins Bonnie and Kim. Along with his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy; and his grandson, Chris. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 1:00pm - 2:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm.
