SHUMARD, Sr., Robert E. age 76 of W. Carrollton, passed on Sunday, 
March 7, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born July 22, 1933 in Dayton, 
the son of the late Robert H. & Mary (Mitchell) Shumard. Robert was a 
member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. He is survived by his 
wife of 24 years Linda R. (Williams) Shumard, 4 sons Robert Jr., Rick, 
Daniel and David, 2 daughters Debbie Lewis and Kathy Campbell, a brother 
Ronald, a sister Patricia Gephart, 12 grandchildren and 12 great 
grandchildren. Mass of Christian will be said on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 
11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, Miamisburg. 
Father Tom Nevels celebrant. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery. The family will 
receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART 
FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. If desired memorial contributions may be 
made to Hospice of Dayton in Roberts memory.
