HUFFMAN, Sr., Ronald L. Age 85 of West Carrollton passed away Tuesday February 13, 2018. Ron was born August 9, 1932 and lived his life in West Carrollton. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Miami Paper Mill in West Carrollton after 45 years of service and was on the West Carrollton Fire Department for 15 years. Memberships included the Masonic Lodge F&AM 737 West Carrollton, American Legion Post No.165 Miamisburg. Ron was preceded in death by his mother Anna (Bob) Beckett, his father Robert (Thelma) Huffman, his wife of 62 years Ruby M. Huffman, July 18, 2014, infant son Terry Wayne Huffman, 2 sisters Roberta Wilson, Betty Wright, 3 brothers-in-law Bob Slaton, Bob Estepp and Roy Slaton, daughter-in-law Teresa Huffman. Ron leaves to cherish his memory 6 children Keith (Alice) Huffman, Rhonda (Joe) Thaman, Ronald Huffman, Jr., Sandy (Jeff) Heheman, Ed (Sue) Huffman, Darren (Tammy)Huffman, 14 grandchildren Shannon Huffman, Mandy, Tracey and Jessy Thaman, Stacy and Chris Huffman, Adrienne Huffman, David and Cody Sabrowski, Nick and Matt Huffman, Kristin and Marie Huffman, and Lana Huffman, 14 great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will Friday February 16, 2018 from 11 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Sanner Funeral Home, 800 So. Alex Rd., West Carrollton, OH 45449. Memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday following the greeting of family and Friends. Rev. Phil Hoskins officiating. The urn will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery following the services.
