DOWDEN, Joyce L. age 78 of Washington Twp., passed away 
Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was born December 7, 1935 
the daughter of the late Waverly & Ellen (Bowling) Craft. Mrs. 
Dowden was a graduate of West Carrollton High School Class of 
1953, and was retired from Mead World Headquarters with 30 years 
of service. Preceded in death by her sister Beatrice Spence. She is 
survived by her loving husband of 61 years Doug Dowden, her son 
Michael Dowden, and three nieces Bonnie, Linda & Jenny, as well 
as numerous friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, 
October 3, 2014 at 12 Noon at the Highland Memorial Cemetery, 
Miamisburg. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 
p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West
