JENNINGS, Paul Denver 79, of Xenia passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born September 2, 1935 in Troy, Ohio, the son of Thomas Burton and Dorothy (Brush) Jennings, who preceded him in death. Paul retired from Carolina Freight Carriers Corporation in 1995 after 28 years of service as a truck driver. He was a volunteer with Greene County Rescue and the Volunteer Twp. Fire Dept. South. He graduated from West Carrollton High School Class of 1954. He also served in the US Air Force Reserve with the 121st Field Maintenance Squadron from 1954-62. He is survived by his wife, Virginia A. (Kuhn) Jennings, whom he married and Tammy J. Cain in Dayton, OH; a sister: Carolyn Cunningham of Dayton, OH; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc., 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia, with Rev. Donald Payne officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia.
