LEIWIG, Beatrice A. age 69 of Kettering, passed away, Friday, 
January 12, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 
27, 1937 in Oil City, PA, the daughter of the late Norman L. & Ethal 
(Cauvel) Rice. Mrs. Leiwig was retired from Kroger's. Survivors 
include her loving husband of 53 years Gene Leiwig Sr., 2 sons Gene 
Leiwig Jr. of Dayton, Timothy Leiwig and wife Linda Darlene of FL, 
her brother Norman Rice and wife Ulla of TX, 2 grandchildren Cara 
ohnson and husband David, Tracy Owens and husband Claude, her 
great granddaughter Tessa Johnson, and numerous other family 
members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 
January 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from the SWART FUNERAL HOME, 
West Carrollton. Pastor Dean Haferman officiating. Burial Miami Valley 
Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 
p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice 
of Dayton in her memory.
