MARRIOTT, Barbara J. Age 78 of West Carrollton passed away 
peacefully April 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by her l
oving family. Barbara served as executive secretary to the 
City Manager of West Carrollton for thirty years. Preceded 
in death by her parents, Theodore and Lillian Thomas, sister 
Loisnan Cook and nephew John D Cook. She is survived by her 
loving husband of 61 years, Elmer. Son Steven (Karyn) Marriott, 
daughters Cheryl (Jim) Krapf and Lisa Marriott. Six 
grandchildren Jeremiah Marriott, Sarah (Phil) Gargiulo, Michael 
Krapf, Sarah (Andy) Rhoades, Michael (Elizabeth) Adams II, Joshua 
(Cassondra) Adams. 10 great grandchildren, two sisters, Marie 
Richard) Kurpe and Jane (Tom) Beachler and several nieces and 
nephews. The family would like to express their thanks for the 
wonderful and compassionate care Barbara received at Kettering 
Memorial Hospital and Hospice of Dayton. Memorial contributions 
may be made to Hospice of Dayton. A Memorial will be held at 
the convenience of the family at a later date.
