PEFFLY, Lawrence Lee Age 83 of Eaton, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born November 11, 1935 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Orlando Sr. and Ethel Peffly. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Patricia J. Peffly; step-son, Sandy Boyce and 11 siblings. Lawrence is survived by his daughters, Laura and her husband, Scott Brock and Sharon Craig; granddaughter, Jessica Craig; great grandchildren, Reagan, Cambria, Ambellina and Logan; siblings, Shirley O'Riley, Frances Moore and Jake Peffly and numerous other extended family members. Larry was a graduate of West Carrollton High School. He honorably served the United States Navy as a Mineman during the Korean War. Larry retiree of Frasier Paper following 30 plus years of valuable employment as the maintenance supervisor. He was a man who enjoyed his leisure time and spending time with family. His most valuable possessions included his 5 acres and his beloved great granddaughter. Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Monday, January 7, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. Services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm Monday also at the funeral home. Procession to Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton will conclude with burial and military honors.
