SHUMARD, Frank E. Age 67 of W. Carrollton, passed away 
Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Sycamore Glen Nursing Center. 
He was born December 30, 1937 in Dayton, the son of the late 
Robert H. & Mary (Mitchell) Shumard. Preceded in death by a 
daughter Sharon Kay Shumard and by 2 brothers. Survivors 
include his wife Erma (Smelcer) Shumard, 3 sons Doug Shumard 
and wife Sarah of Dayton, Frank Shumard Jr. and wife Leanna of 
MO, Henry Shumard of Dayton, 6 daughters Regina White of 
Dayton, Terri Taylor and husband Terry of Franklin, Susie Robinson 
and husband Gerald of Miamisburg, Mary Hobbs and husband 
Douglas of Woodland, OH, Diane Stone and husband Larry of TX, 
Darlene Valentine and husband Nathan of Monroe, 2 brothers 
Robert Shumard and wife Linda of W. Carrollton, Ronald Shumard 
of Miamisburg, his sister Pat Gebhart and husband Dale Sr. of W. 
Carrollton, 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous 
other family a friends. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, 
September 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, W. 
Carrollton. Chaplain John Talk officiating. The family will receive 
friends on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART 
FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton. Memorial contributions if desired 
may be made to the Parkinson Foundation in his memory.
