SLATON, Robert age 75, of West Carrollton, went home to be with the 
Lord on Thursday, June 12, 2014. Robert served in the US Navy, was 
a firefighter/paramedic for West Carrollton and retired from Frasier 
Paper. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Alice; children, 
Tammy (Jeff) Ochs, Tara (Mark) Swank, Bryan Slaton and Tricia (James) 
Carter; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter-who will forever hold him 
in their memories and heart. The family would like to thank the Hospice of 
Dayton for their loving care. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, 
June 18, 2014 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel 
(3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 7
