Barbara Weidner Sprague Family-Placed Obituary SPRAGUE, Barbara L. (Weidner) age 65, of Miamisburg, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2005 at Sycamore Hospital. Barbara was born October 3, 1939 to Allen and Dorothy (Wical) Weidner in Miamisburg. She was a graduate of West Carrollton High School Class of '57. She worked for Monsanto at Mound Lab in Miamisburg and later at Pirate's Whip in West Carrollton. Barb was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Miamisburg, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Miamisburg Historical Society. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, Carl, brother-in-law, Tom Butler and father-in-law, Junior Sprague. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ron; her daughter, Ronda; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Dutch Hibberd, and Mary Butler; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Everett "Jess" and Betty Weidner, Henry and Patsy Weidner; mother-in-law, Ruby Sprague; sister-in-law, Denise Spradlin and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. Barb was devoted to her family and was a loyal friend to many. Her pleasant smile, wonderful sense of humor and giving way will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 24, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 203 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg. Rev. Ward Tilton officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 AM until time of service. Following the service, family and friends are invited to a gathering and lunch at Deer Run Lodge, 10489 Dayton-Cincinnati Pike. Inurnment will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Barbara's memory to the Buff Weidner Scholarship Fund, c/o Farmers and Merchants Bank, 41 S. First St., Miamisburg.
