Linda Lou Lemons, 77, of Miamisburg, passed away Thursday, August 03, 2017 at River Oaks Care Center.

She was born April 8, 1940 in Dayton, the daughter of Charles "Bud" and Harriet (Wogaman) Beckett.

Linda was a 1958 graduate of West Carrollton High School. She married Robert "Bob" Lemons on October 23, 1959 and they had been married for 57 years when Bob passed in April. Linda worked for Miamisburg City Schools as a bus driver for 21 years before retiring in 1998. She loved to spend time with her family and friends and was an accomplished baker. Linda and Bob loved to travel and spent many summers traveling out west with several trips to Alaska and Disney World. She was a crafter who loved crocheting and gifted her many projects to family and friends. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, plastic canvas, working jigsaw puzzles and Bingo at the Miamisburg Senior Center with her friends, Brenda Litsch and Elena Perry.

She is survived by her children, Traci (Dwayne) Spegal of Miamisburg, Toni Lemons (Bill Chandler) of Springboro, and Scott (Tami) Lemons of Wilmington; grandchildren, Emili (Johnny) Bell, Jessi (Steve) Mahle, Bill (Kelsey) Jones, Justin Jones, Sidney Lemons, Shelby Lemons, and Stefani Lemons; great grandchildren, Makenna Spegal, William Jones, Aaron Jones, and Jackson Mahle; brother, Ronald "Pete" (Carol) Beckett of Petersburg, Alaska; brother-in-law, Richard Lemons; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; as well as lifelong friends, Bonnie (Lee) Odiorne and Julie (Cliff) Griffie..

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob; siblings, Richard Beckett and Judy Kash.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Beckett officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton.
