HOWARD, William R. "Bill" Age 76 of West Carrollton, passed away September 6, 
2015. He was born September 8, 1938 in Jackson, KY to the late Hall and 
Lillian Howard. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lucy Howard; 
children: William (Belinda) Howard, Eric (Jennifer) Howard, Laura (Mike Buie) 
Howard and Heather (Alan) Miller; and grandchildren: Bryce Stines and Katie 
Howard. Bill graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1958 and attended 
Sinclair Community College. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 
from 1961-63. Bill was a Sergeant with the Dayton Police Department and was a 
member of the F.O.P, American Legion, the Masonic Lodge and Shrine. Visitation 
will be held from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 
3940 Kettering Blvd., where the funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday. 
Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
