RIX, David W. Age 76 of Murphy, NC formerly of Dayton, passed Tuesday March 29, 2016. 
David was a US Navy Veteran and retired from Martin Marietta. David had a strong faith 
in the Lord! He was preceded in death by his sister Beverly Rohler and parents Ferris 
and Georgia (Fitzwater) Rix. Surviving is his wife Brenda Rix, children Katherine Dunn, 
James (Suzy) Rix, James "Thadd" (Terri) Minton, Shanda (Chris) Grooms, the mother of 
his children Judith Rix, brothers Ramon (Toby) Rix, Robert (Graceanne) Rix, 5 
grandchildren Christopher Daniels, Melissa Garrison, Kristin Reighley, Tritin Stephens 
and Riane Potts. Funeral services will be Monday April 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Sanner 
Funeral Home, 800 So. Alex Rd., West Carrollton, OH 45449 with Pastor Pete Creamer 
officiating. Visitation will be Monday 1 hour prior to services (10-11 a.m.). Burial 
will be at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton. Memorial contributions may be made to 
the American Heart Assoc. 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214.
