SCHINDLER, Richard L. Age 67 of Springboro, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 30, 1939 in W. Carrollton the son of the late Joseph R. & C. Frances (Pinkerton) Schindler. Mr. Schindler was a retired patrolman with the W. Carrollton Police Dept. with 28 ½ years of service, was currently employed by P & R Communications, a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #117, Miamisburg Moose #1645, and honorably served his country with the U.S. Air Force. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law Beverly Emrick. Survivors include his wife of 21 years Jean A. (Emrick) Schindler, 2 sons Richard Ryan Schindler of W. Carrollton, James J. Ingle and wife Beverly of Illinois, 2 daughters Sharon R. Culham and husband Scott A. of Dayton, Julie Ingle and husband Adam Zolot of California, 2 sisters Shirley Pressel and husband Robert of W. Carrollton, Joyce McCroson and husband Clint of Miamisburg, his father-in- law Kenneth Emrick of Dayton, 8 grandchildren Andrew Schindler, Seth and Samuel Culham, Jackson, Jeffrey, Isabelle and Olivia Ingle, Judah Zolot, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Springboro, 60 E. North St., Springboro, Ohio. Dr. Mark Shimer officiating. Burial Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton.
