WESTRAY, Wayne (Melvin) 72, left his "TEMPORARY HOME' for his "HOME ETERNAL' on 4-7-2012 after a long battle with leukemia. His JOY is complete where his soul is at home with GOD. Graduated West Carrollton High, served 4 years in the Navy. Served his Lord with singing Gospel Music as his Ministery. He sang at his church, Brantwood Baptist, Nursing Homes, other churches from Florida to Ohio at many home comings, funerals, cantadas, gave many CDs as gifts. He was preceded by his daughter, Denise, his mother, father and sister. He will be waiting for his wife Meretta-Missy (Gibbs) Westray, son Mark (Holly), brothers Don and Rudy(Ruth), stepson Jeff Rogers, that was also one of his care givers, grandchildren, his precious princess Tawni Rogers, Alec Ruden and Jesse Barnhill. Many nieces and nephews. His loving special brothers and sisters at Brantwood Baptist that prayed, fed, worked, visited,cards and calls.Special friends Jimmy and Lurlene Gibbs, Wanda Bilbrey, Marilyn and Ken Kinney ,Bob and Oda Childress, Sue Rogers. As he told his little dog SASSY, Daddy's going to live with Jesus, it had us all singing 'I'VE GOT MORE TO GO TO HEAVEN FOR THAN I HAD YESTERDAY' "HE FOUND A FRIEND IN JESUS' His blesssed hope has now become a reality.
