WISE, Carol A. (nee Woosley) age 69 passed away Monday June 10, 2013 at The Hospice of Dayton. Carol was born March 12, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio. Preceded in death by her husband George W. Wise, parents Marjorie Ann and Elmer Thomas Woosley, sister Sharon Lynn Woosley Kier and Aunts Mary A. and Leona E. Carr. Survived by niece Wendy A. Kier, great niece and Godchild Nickole Alyssa Lynn Butcher, dear friend Alex Gamber, dearest friend Elaine R. Lickfelt and family (Ron, Laura and Sarah). Carol was a graduate of West Carrollton High School where she was a member of the Band and Orchestra, President of the Junior Council on World Affairs her senior year. She also graduated from Bowling Green State University with a B.S. in Education and taught Vocational Home Economics in the Brookville, Ohio school system and was a substitute teacher in the Phoenix, Arizona school system for two years while her husband worked in his advertising, sales and film production company. They both enjoyed travel and entertaining. Other interests led her to permits and licensing in the trucking business, sales with Mary Kay, manager of Woody's Market Order Desk and Deliveries for 13 years; and was a licensed Long Term Care Insurance agent before becoming Director of Zion Lutheran Church Pre School and Adult Day Care. Memorial Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 5550 Munger Rd., Miami Twp., OH 45459 on Thursday June 13, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor John Mittermaier officiating. A lite meal will be served following the services. Final resting place will be with George at Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum, Dayton, OH.
