COFFEY, Roger Dean Age 69, of Dayton, passed away on March 3, 2016 at the Dayton V.A. 
Medical Center. He was born on October 21, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Justus and 
Gladden Coffey. Along with his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his youngest son, 
Stephen Matthew Coffey (2010). Roger is survived by his son, Brent Thomas Coffey; 
brother, James B. Coffey; and sister, Wanda C. Pospisil. Roger served in the United 
States Marine Corps (1966-1968). He was a member of the 3rd MAR DIV in the Northern I 
Corps AO, obtaining the rank of Sgt. Roger was a disabled veteran and lifetime member of 
DAV. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 
5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3970 Kettering Blvd.,
