ASELAGE, Sherry Lea (Rucker) age 67, of Centerville, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Sherry was born May 9, 1946 in Dayton, OH to Harold and Audrey Rucker. She attended West Carrollton High School and Miami- Jacobs Career College. After college, she worked at McCalls and Frigidaire. It was at Frigidaire she met the love of her life, Clem Aselage. They married October 9, 1971 and shared 42 wonderful years together. Sherry dedicated her life to creating a loving home for her husband and two children. Her love, loyalty, and generosity were beyond measure. She also worked at the University of Dayton for 10 years. Sherry enjoyed gardening, being involved in her children's activities, cooking, traveling to the ocean, crafts, and the holidays, especially Christmas. She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Rucker and mother, Audrey (Georgousis) Rucker. She is survived by her husband, Clem Aselage; daughter, Carey Carr and husband Greg; son, Aaron Aselage and wife Beth Freyvogel, and; grandsons, Samuel and Eli Carr, and CJ and Flynn Aselage. She is also survived by her brother Mike (Janet) Rucker, sisters, Teresa (Steve) Kinney, Tonya (Bob) Allbery, and Kim Krug, and countless nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends may call from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Monday, October 14, 2013, at St. Henry Catholic Parish, 6696 Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at David's Cemetery.
