WHITE, Laura Lee 62, of Dawsonville, GA died at her home on March 18, 2009 
after a courageous struggle with cancer. A native of Dayton, OH she was the 
daughter of the late George and Ruth Wood. Laura was active in the Carcinoid 
Cancer Group and founded the Metro Atlanta Cancinoid Support Group. A 
selfless woman, she formed many lasting friendships through the years. She was 
a loving and caring wife and mother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 
almost 40 years, Edward White of Dawsonville, GA; daughter Jennifer White of 
Adairsville, GA; special friends, Bob and Virginia Lotz and Randy and Linda Hull 
of OH, Mary and Roy Huff of AZ and Jack and Connie Thompson of Dahlonega, 
GA; and loving cousins. A private service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 
2009 in Dayton, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made
in memory of Laura White to the Carcinoid Cancer Foundation at
