BERNER, Linda K "Nana" Age 62, of Dayton passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009. She lived and loved until the day she died. She was born February 8, 1947 in Dayton to the late Janet (Grove) and Benjamin Adams Jr. Linda graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1965. She retired from the city of Moraine (Civic Center) on November 26, 2008. She was preceded in death by her uncle Richard Adams. Linda is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 39 years, David J Berner Sr.; her children Crystal Rae (Eric) Morrow, of Parker City, IN, David J Valerie) Berner Jr., of Dayton, Belinda Mary (Jonathan) Requarth, of Kettering; brothers Dale (Rita) Adams, of West Carrollton and Kenneth (Lori) Adams, of St. Cloud, FL; sister Donna Evans; brother-in-law Stephen Berner; sister-in-law Carol Berner; 4 beautiful grandchildren Amber Nicole Morrow, of West Lafayette, IN, Kelli-Jo Rae Morrow, of Parker City, IN, Joshua David Requarth and Briana Marie Requarth, of Kettering; nieces Jennifer, Julie, Jessica, Deana Murphy, Holly Evans and Michelle Adams; and nephew James (Amy) Berner. Linda was a kind person who was full of life and laughter. She was known to the neighborhood kids as Mom Berner. She never let anyone go hungry. She loved her pets; Lady Pearl Prancer (Rest in peace mommas home) Kiwi & Zoie. She loved to vacation, especially in Hawaii & her beloved Gatlinburg with her family. She had a passion for ceramics and chatting with her internet friends. The family will receive friends Monday, March 2, 2009 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will begin at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made in Lindas honor to SICSA, of Kettering.
