ANDREWS, Karen Janet Age 69 was received into heaven on June 1, 2016. Karen was born August 9, 1946. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Shirley (Nims) Andrews and her Father, Jack Andrews. Karen will be greatly missed by her sisters, Amy (Andrews) Hawley of Dayton and Beth (Andrews) Poore of Knoxville. Karen was so proud of her nephews and their families; Bo Lantis, Daniel (Bethanie) Lantis; Derek Poore and Ryan Poore. Karen had great love for babies and enjoyed any opportunity to show off her great-nieces and nephews who included Aaron, Benjamin, Aedan, Jacquelynn, Faith, David, and Willow. Karen is also survived by her steady beau of 50 years, Frank "Cork" Sanders. Karen's fiesty and independent demeanor allowed her to work and volunteer for 50 plus years at Kettering Medical Center. While there, Karen had the opportunity and privilege to touch many lives as she bustled up and down the hallways delivering mail, supplies, or support to those who needed her.
