THATCHER, Charles Lloyd 62, died June 15, 2009. Born October 31, 
1946 in Dayton OH. Preceded in death by his Father, Lloyd Thatcher who 
passed away June 17 2008, he is survived by his loving Mother, Vee 
Thatcher who resides in Ocala FL. A long time resident of Dayton, he 
moved to Kokomo IN in 1994 where he retired from GM. He was a 
Vietnam Veteran serving honorably in the Army. Charles was a true 
Harley Davidson enthusiast. He was known and admired for building the 
fastest motors anywhere. He enjoyed billiards winning tournaments in 
Dayton and Kokomo. His 6'5" smile will be missed by all who knew and 
loved him. A memorial will be held at the Kokomo VFW Post 1152 at a 
later date. A memorial run to Oregonia Hill Climb will be held in October.
