BOND, Gwen Garrod Age 68, of Middletown, OH, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 23, 2018. She was born in Dayton, OH, on February 5, 1949. Gwen graduated from West Carrollton High School ~ Class of 1967 and Cosmetology School. She was an excellent cook and loved her 2 cats. She was preceded in death by her father Paul E. Garrod, Jr. She is survived by her mother, Marilyn Garrod of Miamisburg, OH: her son Steven (Lavonne) Bond; her grandson, Tyler Bond; her sister Lynn (Ralph) Hagenschneider all of Middletown, OH; her brother, Russell (Sally) Garrod of Gahanna, OH; and a special niece, Carole Ann (Gene) Nickell of Wilmington, OH. A Graveside Service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Fairview Cemetery, Gratis. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
