Raymond "Buzz" H. Tasker, age 62 of Ft. Loramie, passed away of natural causes at his residence on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011. He was born Nov. 24, 1948, to the late Keith and Jean (Urschel) Tasker. He is survived by his previous wife, Peggy (Sliger) Tasker of West Milton; two daughters: Tiffany Tasker of Cardington and Amy Tasker of West Milton; four grandchildren: Brendon Tasker, Tanner DePolo, Andrea DePolo, and Maggie Saum; two brothers: Bill Renas of Front Royal, Va. and Doug Renas, formerly of Dayton; sisters & brothers-in-law: Kathy Gibbs of Canton, Ga. and Elden and Susan Quilling of Mableton, Ga.; two nieces: Katie Quilling and Melissa Snead; as well as numerous friends. Raymond was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Fort Loramie American Legion and Covington Fraternal Order of Eagles. A truck driver by profession, Mr. Tasker worked for Costal Concrete of Nags, NC and previously, Weyer Hauser Lumber Co. of Columbus. Raymond enjoyed fishing and also hunting mushrooms. A private memorial gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials in Raymond's memory may be made to disabled veterans charities.
