WILSON, Richard Russell, age 55, (March 1, 1949) of Dayton, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2004. Richard was a 1967 graduate of West Carrollton High School. He retired from the Fairborn Fire Department after 22 years of service and was a member of the International Association of Firefighters. Richard was an avid bowler and member of the TGIF bowling l eague at Marion Lanes. He also enjoyed golf, boating and was a Harley rider. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Bette Wilson (Mains). Richard is survived by his wife of 28 years, Cindy (Hare) Wilson; 2 daughters, Brittany Lynne, and Heather Renee Steffes; grandson, Alexander James; granddaughter, Brooklyn Jean; brother, Jerome (Peggy) Wilson of Dayton, OH; sister, Bonnie (Ron) Tyler of Baldwinsville, NY; father-in-law, Darrell Hare; brothers-in-law, Tim (Amy) Hare of Dayton, OH and Randy Hare; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 1:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Entombment in David’s Mausoleum. Family will receive friends from 11-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
