HAMMONDS, Roy Kenneth (Kenny) 62 passed away 4/25/2015. He got his education 
at West Carrollton H.S. (1970) and Progress Tech and started his career at 
Monarch Marking and worked at Thaler Machine until he started Hammonds 
Machine & Tool in 1988. Ken enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, and was 
quite the outdoors man until his health failed in 2000. He received his 
pilot's license when he was 19 years old. He was a kind and soft soul when 
it came to his feline friends! We will miss our brother, father, and friend. 
He is preceded in death by his father, Fred Hammonds, mother, Edith Bookhamer, 
step-father, Bob Bookhamer, brother, Dennis James Hammonds, nephew, Dennis 
James Hammonds II, and a niece, Chrissy Hammonds. Ken is survived by his Life 
Partner Sandy Conley, son, Roy Kenneth Hammonds II (Dusty), sister, Judie Kell 
William), nephew, Joseph Kell, aunt, Dottie Westmoreland, aunt, Inez Mitchell, 
and aunt Frances Parker. Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 1, 2015 at 
2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., 
Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service 
at the funeral home. Burial will be in Heritage Hills Memory Gardens. Please
