BALIAN (Goff), Monica Sue 63, of Sunbury OH, at peace with God at home after a 13-year battle with cancer on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017. Born Sept. 24, 1953 in Marysville, OH to the late Loran B. and Miriam E. (Nicol) Goff. Survived by husband R. Allan; daughter, Alicia Miller; grandchildren: Sophie, Ethan Miller; sister, Deborah (Wesley) Luburgh; brothers: Alan (April) and Dennis (Laura) Goff; nephews: Austin, Alex, Thad, Theo Goff; grandnieces Clara, Isla Goff. A 1971 West Carrollton High School OH graduate and 1998 Sinclair Community College Nursing graduate, Dayton OH. She worked for Kettering Hospital, Dayton OH and Ohio Health in Delaware, OH. Monica loved family, friends, life and many hobbies. Her talents included compassionate caring of others, sewing, quilting, stain glassed, garden art and gardening. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 3 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074 with Chaplain John Cramton officiating. Burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park. Friends may call on the family from 1 PM until the time of the service.
