BRUSH, Ada (King) Age 57 of Kettering, Ohio passed away on January 31st after a long illness. She was born November 20, 1951 in Sand Gap, Ky. and moved to West Carrollton, OH at the age of 14, graduating from West Carrollton High School in 1971. She is survived by Glenn, her husband of 37 years, and her two sons Christopher Glenn Brush and Jesse Adam Brush. She is also survived by step and half brothers and sisters: Irene Young, Nevarene Northren, Juanita, Christine Powell, and Virgil Powell and Irene, all of Kentucky and many step nieces and nephews and her adopted sissy, Paula Jeffers of North Park, Florida. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Dean Christien King and Dora May King (nee Adkins). She met her husband in May 1971 after his tour in Vietnam. He followed her home from Frisch's in Moraine City while cruising around. He didn't meet her the first time but she tracked him down a couple of days later and he followed her home. This time she decided to keep him. He drove from Camp LeJeune, NC to Dayton round trip nearly every weekend until they were married in Dillon, SC in December 1971. Thereafter, they were inseparable and never doubted their love. After Glenn left the service, they lived in Fairborn, OH for a year and then moved to Bellefontaine, OH in 1973 where they bought their first home and lived until 1985. While in Bellefontaine she became a realtor, worked at several retail stores and a pharmacy, obtained a life insurance license and joined the Jayceettes obtaining the position of president. She has many friends in the Bellefontaine area and has kept in touch with many of them since moving to Kettering, OH in 1985. During all that time they had no children being told they couldn't have any. God blessed them with the first of two miracles, Christopher, born in February 1988 and the second, Jesse, in November 1989. She remained a realtor for over 25 years and worked for Alpine Realty, Fortener and Associates, LeValley Realty and others. She loved to sell homes but she loved her family most of all.
