LINDA PARSONS LAKE KIOWA — Services for Linda Parsons, 54, of Lake Kiowa are set for 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Denison officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home of Gainesville. Mrs. Parsons died Jan. 27, 2008, at her residence. She was born June 1, 1953, in St. Charles, Va., to Richard and Linda Lawson Howe. On May 25, 1974, she married Hollis N. Parsons in West Carrollton, Ohio. As well as being a homemaker, she was an aide in the computer education class at Robert E. Lee School. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Gainesville Car Club. Survivors include her husband, Hollis N. Parsons of Lake Kiowa; daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole and Brad Morell of Gainesville and Michel and Jonathan Adams of Lake Kiowa; mother and step-father, Linda and Jimmy Mercer of Lebanon, Ohio; three grandchildren; and sisters and brother-in-law, Debbie and Jeff Weaver of Lebanon, Ohio, and Rhonda Derringer of West Carrollton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Howe; and a granddaughter on Nov. 27, 2003. Pallbearers are Brian Winters, Scott Flanagan, Robby Dietz, Nathan Garrett, Jason Thurston and Brandon Emberton.
