STEVENSON, Gary Bryant Age 64, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord after a long courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on May 19, 1954 in Dayton, OH. Gary graduated from West Carrollton High School. Gary retired from Delco Moraine/Delphi after working for 30 years. He also was an owner/operator of a trucking business. He last employment was Caterpillar. Gary enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley. Gary was a loving and caring man who loved his family and friends deeply. He loved attending Fairhaven Church. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Jean Bailey Stevenson; brothers, Stevie and Barry Stevenson. Survived by his wife of 35 years Diana; son, Jeremiah Stevenson and sister Stephanee (Chuck) Oberer; grandchildren, Jordan, Madeline and Lexie; brother-in-law, Randy (Kim) Kelly; special friend, Jim Prim. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family thanks Dr. Sabagh and team for the wonderful and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gary's name to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society. A memorial service will be held on December 1, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Fairhaven Church 637 East Whipp Road, Centerville, Ohio 45459. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Fairhaven Church.
