MINUTOLO, Elaine S. passed away at the age of 56 years old on Saturday June 11, 2011. She was born March 23, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Ernest and Dolores Albert. Elaine graduated from West Carrollton HS and earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, New Mexico. She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton for 10 years and also worked for Kettering Home Health Network for several years serving the New Carlisle, Medway, Fairborn and Huber Heights area. Elaine was a very compassionate and caring individual who loved nursing and who also loved her family and had a special place in her heart for the love of animals. They gave her comfort, strength, and unabated attention throughout her whole life and especially during these last 11 years as she fought her disease. She was a member of Brandt Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Thomas Minutolo; children, Philip & Rose Minutolo, brother Mark and sister Joan Albert; niece, Rachel McMahon and nephews, Nathan and Nathan Albert; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5-6 PM Friday June 17, 2011 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with memorial service at 6 PM in the funeral home. The Minutolo Family would like to say special thanks to Dr. Charles Bane and the staff of Dayton Hematology and Oncology at Good Samaritan North Hospital for their compassionate and quality medical care over many years. They would also like to express heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Dayton for their knowledge, equipment and caring in helping us through the most difficult times. And lastly, they want to thank Pastor David Jarvis Schroeder, Lay Pastor David Potter, Polly Turner and the congregation of Brandt Lutheran Church for their love and their prayers, and their help in allowing Elaine to rest peacefully on the wings of the many angels all around her.
