FLICK, Erin L. 57, died suddenly in her home Monday, July 21, 2014, from unknown causes. Erin was born March 31, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from West Carrollton High School, where she was loved by many. She was a social worker for Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services for many years. Erin was a valued member of the community; as she was loved and adored by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She lived her life selflessly and would help anyone in their time of need. Erin was the matriarch of her family and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her father, William Flick; brothers Brian Flick, and Patrick Flick (Suzy); sister-in-law, Lori Flick- Gilliam; nieces and nephews, Michele Isaacs (Jess), Erin Wiedemann (Karen), Jessica McWhorter (Leah) and baby Arien, Ryan Flick (Santina), Kristen Maglicco (Larry), Clare Flick (Carhon), and Jay Gilliam; many great-nieces and nephews, her best friends Judy and Frank Gulasa, her partner of 16 years Charles Corrigan, and many, many other great friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Alice Caldwell; brother Mark Flick, sisters Lori Dotson and Kelly Flick; her daughter Allison Flick; and her nephew Todd Wiedemann. Visitation will be held from 12p.m. until 2p.m., Friday, July 25 2014 at the Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439).
