SMITH, Michael Arden "Mike" 56, of West Carrollton, Ohio died at 
4:57 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Sycamore Hospital due to 
complications related to a 17 year battle with cancer. Mike was born 
May 31, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio and was a 1976 graduate of West 
Carrollton High School. He is survived by his mother and father, Donna 
and Arden Smith; daughter, Kayla Smith; brother, Craig (Julie) Smith; 
cousin, Jason Huffman; and four nephews. He is preceded in death by 
his wife, Lisa Kirkland Smith; and his aunt, Brenda (Bill) Huffman. Mike 
enjoyed fishing, model cars and caring for his pets. An informal 
gathering for friends and family will be held from 11:00-2:00, with a 
memorial service at 11:30, on Tuesday July 22 at Polen Farm, 5099 
Bigger Road, Kettering, Ohio 45440.
