Sheryl Lynn Blackburn, 60, of Miamisburg, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born March 16, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Glenn and Nina Bennett. She was a 1977 graduate of West Carrollton High School and drove a school bus for Miamisburg City Schools for over 15 years. In her free time, Sheryl enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and boating at Lake Waynoka, decorating, landscaping, and playing with her dogs Padme and Phoebe. She is survived by her father Glenn Bennett; husband of 35 years, Ron Blackburn; three children, Andrea (Brian) Dalton, Carleigh (Eli) Hayes, and Kyle Blackburn; two sisters Marianne (Art) Dull, Patti (Scott) Damron, mother-in-law, Phyllis Blackburn; three grandchildren, Bret, Kaity, and Larkin; and nieces Lyndsey, Katie, Haley, and Rachel. She was preceded in death by her mother Nina Bennett; maternal grandparents, Donald and Florence Blackburn; paternal grandparents William and Mildred Bennett; father-in-law, Kenneth Blackburn, and sister-in-law, Teresa Huffman. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday from 4-7 pm in the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg.
