RIEGEL, Emil Rodrick "Rod" age 48, of Miamisburg, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007. Rod was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend. Rod was a long time employee of Stillwater Technologies in West Carrollton and was a member of Miami Shores Baptist Church in Moraine. He was also an avid golfer and hot rod enthusiast. Rod is survived by his wife of over 27 years: Robin Riegel; son: Christopher Riegel; daughter: Rachel Riegel; sister and brother-in-law: Leeta & Byron Pettit; brother and sister-in-law: Charles & Phyllis Riegel; mother-in-law: Sherry Quillen; nephews: Jeremy and wife Julie Pettit, Chad and wife Jessica Pettit, C.J. Riegel, Shaun Quillen; nieces: Sheri and husband Shane Denison, Heather Riegel; great nephews: Noah, Jack, Eric Pettit; great niece: Megan Pettit; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Emil C. & Lois M. Riegel; father-in-law: Ernest Ray Quillen; and brother-in-law: Michael Ray Quillen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 19, at Miami Shores Baptist Church, 4000 Vance Road, Moraine with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering.
