Steven Dale Cronenwett, 58, of Loami died peacefully Saturday, June 23, 2018, in his home. Born Oct. 12, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Dale Cronenwett and Judy (Marshall) Cronenwett, who preceded him in death. Steve graduated in 1978 from West Carrollton High School. He worked in the cable construction industry for 30 years. He married Brenda Chamberlain on June 12, 2018, after being together for 32 years. Survivors include his life partner and loving wife, Brenda; his three children, Cassie (husband, Zach), Jennifer (husband, Dan), and Eric; three grandchildren, Eric, Emmett and Ashlynn; siblings, Donna (husband, Rich), Brian (wife, Sue), Kevin (wife, Gina), and Carol; as well as many other dearly loved family members. Steve loved being outdoors and had a passion for fishing, gardening, grilling and campfires. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and NFL football. He was happiest when spending time with his children and grandchildren. Steve was one-of-a-kind and will be dearly missed by all those close to him. Family Care Cremation of Springfield is in charge of arrangements. A small celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
