NORTON, Elizabeth Lynn "Liz" age 47, of Miami Township passed 
away Friday, March 14, 2008 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Liz was 
a loving daughter, mother and a dedicated teacher in the Beavercreek 
Elementary School District for 18 years. She was a graduate of West 
Carrollton High School and received her Bachelor's and Master's 
degrees in Education from Ohio State University and Wright State 
University. Liz was born on August 24, 1961 in Dayton to Norman and 
Carole (Walker) Grant. She was preceded in death by her mother; her 
grandfather, Harvey Grant; and her uncle, Jerry Grant. She is survived 
by her two children Kris and Katie Norton, who were the light of her life. 
Also surviving are her father, Norman Grant and his wife, Debbie; her 
brother and his wife Mike and Teresa Grant; her grandmother, Nola 
Grant; her special aunt and uncle, Marcia and Elmer Stidham; her 
cousins Shanda and Brian Donley and children and Eric and Susan 
Thome; and many loving, caring friends. Friends may call from 5 PM to 
9 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – 
FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. Funeral services 
will be held 10 AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Funeral Home. 
Father Lawrence Meirenfeld officiating. Interment will be in Woodland 
Cemetery following the services. Memorial contributions may be made
